John Gottman describes the "The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse," which are the communication problems that commonly occur and predict couple break-ups with 90% accuracy. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are: criticism, defensiveness, contempt and stonewalling and they show up often in intimate relationships. Sound familiar?
