Relationship Skills to Avoid Breakdowns

Enjoy this share from Lifehacker on the Four Signs Your Relationship Might Be Doomed highlighting the research of The Gottman Institute.  John Gottman describes the "The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse," which are the communication problems that commonly occur and predict couple break-ups with 90% accuracy. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are: criticism, defensiveness, contempt and stonewalling and they show up often in intimate relationships. Sound at all familiar? I'm a Gottman fan, and you can't argue with all that research. Enjoy this YouTube video.

Practice acceptance, try compassion and change what you can. Take care, KS
