Step 1
Make an Initial Consultation appointment through the SimplePractice secure client portal button on the page above. If you would like more privacy and would prefer NOT to be added to the practice system, we can conduct sessions by telephone. Many clients prefer this option. You can also text to schedule at 212-529-8292.
The secure scheduling system is set up to take credit/debit cards. You will need to enter this form of payment into the system to reserve an appointment time. If you are not using insurance, or have out-of-network coverage, sessions are paid for via credit card after each session. Making an appointment means you have accepted your obligation to attend your initial appointment. If you do not attend the scheduled time, you will be responsible for the session fee and charged that day of service.
*If you have Out-of-Network insurance in New York or Montana, as a courtesy, our system can process your insurance information. You will still have to pay for sessions prior to when you receive your insurance reimbursement check.
*If you have In-Network insurance in Montana, we will process your claim for you and you will owe the co-pay.
Step 2
Receive practice information so that we can get started. After you schedule your time, You will receive the usual intake forms via email to be completed prior to your first session. These forms originate from the SimplePractice practice management system. Please complete these forms prior to our meeting.
Step 3
This practice is currently working via Telehealth using a HIPPA-compliant platform called SimplePractice which is easy to use for both of us. We can also meet using Zoom, FaceTime or the platform of your choice Check your mail for a Session Link. For your first session, you will need a smartphone, tablet or computer with stable wifi and privacy. You may download the app iOS/android, but you can also use any browser with just your link without the Telehealth app.
